Kristine Pringle Blog     About Kris
Hi there! Welcome to my blog. Other than photography, writing has always been a passion of mine. I regularly keep a journal, I'm known for my extra long emails, and yes, I even wrote a dissertation. Go Penn State! So, as Pringle Photography began to grow, it seemed only natural to retire the paper journal and begin this online adventure. I will use this site for posting pictures and stories from weddings and other photo shoots, and also for sharing personal pictures of the people and places we love. To our super cool clients, Scott and I are truly honored that you chose us to capture your memories. We hope that you enjoy the sneak peek of your photos. To our prospective clients, hopefully this will give you a little taste of what it’s like to work with us, and the kind of images you can expect. Thanks for stopping by! ~Kristine **PS - to view exclusively weddings, engagement sessions, or lifestyle photography, use the "categories" link above.

Kelly and Her Boys
01.29.09

Kelly's husband Steve has a birthday coming up, and Kelly thought that pictures of her and their 3 boys would be a wonderful surprise for him. I couldn't agree more! So the other day I showed up at their house while Steve was at work, and I had the chance to meet and photograph 7-year old Owen, 5-year old Theo, and almost 3-year old Christopher.

To Kelly, thank you so much for asking me to document these memories for your family. I had so much fun! Your boys are beautiful, and I think Steve is going to LOVE his birthday present. Enjoy the little sneak peek and I will talk to you soon. Hugs~Kristine

Kelly has some gorgeous little boys! This is her oldest son Owen, who is 7.

This is her middle-child, Theo, who is 5. He has the most beautiful hazel-green eyes.

And this is adorable little Christopher, who turns 3 in about a week. I just want to pinch those rosy cheeks!

While we waited for big brother Owen to get home from school, we did some pictures of Mommy with Theo and Christopher.

There was some hugging (LOVE IT!)...

Some climbing and piggy back rides...

And lots of playing and building with blocks.

The boys had a really cool camera, and I let Theo take my picture.

And then "Patches" the Bear and "Puppy" the Dog got their close-ups. :-)

Owen was excited to get home from school to join in on the fun. I happened to see him peeking in the window before he came inside.

I think Owen and Theo are going to love this picture when they're older.

After a few "posed" shots, Owen decided to read his younger brothers a book. My heart was melting....I got so many shots that I love, but the expressions in this one made it the blogger.

And then the boys did what boys do -- wrestle!

It was freezing outside, but we ventured into the cold for just a few minutes. Totally worth it....for this shot...

And this one! I love that I can freeze a moment with my camera.

Kelly, thank you again from the bottom of my heart. Now you and Steve will have pictures to remember not only what the boys look like, but who they are and what they were doing at 7, 5, and 3.

Congratulations Shawna!
01.26.09

Shawna Pringle is my sister-in-law. She is married to Scott's brother Ben, and like Scott, she is a physical therapist. She also happens to be a fitness model. So I don't stand next to her in a bathing suit. ;-) All kidding aside, I wanted to congratulate her on some recent accomplishments....

Like taking 1st place in the 2008 East Coast Classic Figure Competition. And taking 3rd overall at the 2008 NPC Eastern USA Competition. And being selected to do a fitness fashion show at the Arnold Classic in March. Oh, and being pictured in the most recent issue of Muscular Development magazine!

I took these photos of Shawna last November, the day she was leaving for one of her competitions.

Shawna does personal training and nutrition consulting, so she wanted these pictures for her very own website which will be debuting in the near future.

Congratulations Shawna! I am really proud of you. And I hope you don't hate me for blogging these! You are beautiful. Love, Kris

Here you can see a short little video of her winning the East Coast Classic, and how they make the Pringle potato chip joke, which we've both heard a billion times!

My wife, soulmate, and angel is all wrapped up by breath-taking beauty. What many of us do not know is how much hard work and knowledge is put into what you do to be able to step onstage and compete at such a high level. That is just one of the many qualities I love about you. Thank you for being my best friend. NOW LETS HAVE BABIES!
Pamela   |   01.29.09   |   Ben you just melted my heart and brought tears to my eyes when I read what you wrote about my sister. You are the best. I agree you need to start making babies. So come on Shawna :)

Baby Kate: 6 Months
01.15.09

Last fall I photographed baby Kate, her big sister Sara, and their parents -- and after seeing the pictures, they decided they wanted more. Yay! So last weekend I got to photograph baby Kate at 6 months, and I will see her again when she turns 1 this summer. And then again the next summer too! That makes me happy!

To Kate's parents Kim and Eric, getting a "repeat client" is one of the best compliments I can receive, so thank you SO MUCH! I hope you love the pictures as much as I do....when I finally get a chance to update our main website later this winter, you will definitely see some of these on there! :-) Thanks again and I will talk to you soon! Kris

Cuteness overload! Isn't baby Kate just darling!? Thanks for leaving your tree up Kim and Eric - I love the lights in the background.

Kate was very playful, as she just woke up from a nap when I got there.

She did some playing with Daddy...

Some hugging and kissing with Mommy...

And she even posed with her big sister Sara! H.E.L.L.O main website photo! I just love it.

Since we were on a roll, we decided to go outside to get a family shot. Many thanks to Kim's parents, who helped make the girls laugh!

I showed this one to Kim on the back of my camera. I always say that I love babies in hats, especially when they look at you like this!

LOVE this one too! Kim, you have beautiful little girls!

While Kate was getting ready for another round indoors, I played with Sara for a little longer outside. Adorable!

Back inside...I photographed Kate in just her diaper, and she was really giving out the smiles.

I definitely had too many I wanted to blog this time. Thanks again Kim and Eric! I hope you like the little preview.

Michele & Jeff's Wedding on New Year's Eve
01.12.09

On December 31, 2008, Scott and I photographed Michele and Jeff's fabulous New Year's Eve wedding. The ceremony took place at St. Peter's Church in Tamaqua, and the reception was at Carmen's Country Inn in Hazleton. As you can imagine, it was quite the party, and no one had to worry about driving since Michele & Jeff rented a ginormous bus to safely transport their guests back to their hotels.

To Michele and Jeff, we are so happy for you, and we know you will have a wonderful life together. We hope you had an awesome honeymoon in Disney and that the return to these frigid temperatures is a little better now that you have a sneak peek of your wedding pics! We will talk to you soon... With love and appreciation ~Kristine & Scott

We started the day with a few candids of the guys...

And then we were off to see the girls. I loved Michele's bouquet of red roses and pine needles, and I loved that I was able to photograph it in the snow.

Michele, this is why I made you go by the window in your hotel room. L-O-V-E it!

The wedding party got to ride on The Tijuana Taxi. So fun!

Onto the ceremony...

Married! I love this shot of the newlyweds exiting the church because you can just feel their excitement.

It was like zero degrees outside, and it was dark, so we got creative inside the church. Michele couldn't wait to see this one!

A little bit apart...

And closer together.

I loved Michele and Jeff's shoes!

Michele is one of the most expressive people I've ever met. We got so many cute shots of her interacting with her family and friends, but this is one of my faves.

The first dance....all the icicle lights made for a beautiful background in the dance floor photos.

Gotta love when you can capture an unstaged ring shot. This was also during the first dance. The WPJA would call it a "found detail".

I think Michele likes to dance. :-)

Countdown to 2009! Everyone had their hats and noisemakers.

One of my favorites of the day.

And the official Happy New Year kiss!

Congratulations again Michele and Jeff, and thank you for everything!

Baby Evie is 1-Year Old!
01.07.09

Too many favorites -- that is what I should have called this blog of beautiful Baby Evie and her parents, Kristi and Mark. I did photoshoots of Evie at 6 and 9 months, and then again a couple of days ago, just after her 1st birthday which is on New Year's Eve!

To Kristi and Mark, thank you so much for asking me to photograph Evie's first year. It has been so fun getting to know all of you, and I'm so looking forward to a yearly Evie photoshoot! Now onto the little preview, which I can't wait for you to see! Enjoy! Love, Kristine

Here is Evie at 6 months...

At 9 months...

And here she is at the big O-N-E year! SOOOOO CUTE!

Evie got to open a few birthday gifts, and I thought it would look neat with her Mommy and Daddy blurred behind her.

Then we went into Evie's playroom, which had the BEST natural light. Look at those eyes! She is just a gorgeous Gerber baby!

Evie likes to look at the camera -- how lucky for me!

And she loved playing with her new toys. I love the bright colors.

She was so adorable with her little phone.

And her cool new blocks...

She is definitely a smart little girl. Look, "E" is for Evie!

After a couple rounds of the ABCs, Evie gave out hugs and kisses.

Could it get any sweeter!?

This is one of my definite favorites. Evie is dancing to the singing snowmen from Hallmark -- "I'm gonna eat some candy canes..." :-)

And so is this one. I didn't plan on taking it, and that is part of the reason I love it so much. It's photojournalism in Kristi and Mark's living room, and it totally captures a very proud moment in their lives as they watch Evie walk. They are such a beautiful family, inside and out.

Besides the super cute baby, there is something I love about this one too. I think it's her parents behind her -- their hands.

While I'm on a roll with the emotional black & whites, how could I resist this one?! I don't think Kristi even knew I took it. It was an in-between moment and I love it.

I showed this one to Kristi on the back of my camera. Evie loves reading books!

Last but not least, we had to see if Evie would eat some birthday cake.

Even though she didn't eat it on her real birthday, she did it for her photoshoot. That's Kristi & Mark's little camera ham! Thanks again K & M, and Happy 1st Birthday Evie! It has been so fun!

Baby Kaydins is 1-Year Old!
01.04.09

Last week I got to visit Baby Kaydins for her big 1-year session. I can't believe how fast a year went by and how much Kaydins has changed. She was already so adorable at 3, 6, and 9 months, but wait til you see her now. She is starting to get her Mom's curls, and she still has the prettiest blue eyes.

To Kaydins Mommy and Daddy, Sherry and Bryson, thank you so much for the opportunity to document your baby girl's first year. These memories are truly priceless (I love the books you make her from each shoot!), and I'm so honored to have been there to capture them. Looking forward to seeing you all for year and a half photos this summer. Love, Kris

Here is Kaydins at 3 months...

And 6 months...

And at 9 months in her Halloween costume.

And here she is at ONE year.

On the move. Kaydins is very proud of herself and her new walking skills.

So sweet. I love her smiles.

And I have always loved her serious faces.

This is one of my favorite pictures ever. For the cuteness factor, but also for the technical aspects. Photography geeks would call it bokeh-licious! ;)

I love this one too, since the sun rays coming in the window give it a dream-like quality.

Kaydins loved playing with all her new birthday and Christmas gifts.

Like this slide. Nope, she didn't like it at all.

We went outside real quick...just for a snow picture for Kaydins baby book. Love the hat!

And when we came back in, it was time to play with Mommy and Daddy. I'm so glad Sherry and Bryson decided to be in some photos this time.

Really, really glad. This series totally captures all the emotion of watching your baby learn to walk.

And of course Kaydins got to eat cake.

Thanks so much again Sherry and Bryson. You have a beautiful family, and I can't wait to see you all again soon!
