Kristine Pringle Blog     About Kris
Hi there! Welcome to my blog. Other than photography, writing has always been a passion of mine. I regularly keep a journal, I'm known for my extra long emails, and yes, I even wrote a dissertation. Go Penn State! So, as Pringle Photography began to grow, it seemed only natural to retire the paper journal and begin this online adventure. I will use this site for posting pictures and stories from weddings and other photo shoots, and also for sharing personal pictures of the people and places we love. To our super cool clients, Scott and I are truly honored that you chose us to capture your memories. We hope that you enjoy the sneak peek of your photos. To our prospective clients, hopefully this will give you a little taste of what it’s like to work with us, and the kind of images you can expect. Thanks for stopping by! ~Kristine **PS - to view exclusively weddings, engagement sessions, or lifestyle photography, use the "categories" link above.

Happy Thanksgiving!
11.22.07

Scott and I have so much to be thankful for. Of course we are incredibly thankful for our marriage, the closeness we share with our families and friends, our sweet dog Zoey, our health, our growing photography business, etc. etc. Life is so good!

Oh, and did we mention our clients? We are beyond thankful to have the coolest and nicest clients anyone could ask for. I don't know how we get so lucky, over and over again! Over the past few weeks when I wasn't feeling so hot, our clients waited longer than normal for their pictures, and I was beginning to stress a little. But every single one of them said something along the lines of, "Oh my goodness, take your time, get your rest, and take care of you and Baby Pringle first. How exciting!" :) So to each of you, thank you!

I know that many people already know, but we thought that Thanksgiving was a good time to announce that we are expecting our first child in May. We are overwhelmed with love, excitement, pride, and anticipation. We are so blessed. We will be finding out what we're having on January 8th, so we'll be sure to post an update. For now, here is Baby Pringle's first picture - he/she better get used to the camera!!! ;)

Nikki & Brendan's Wedding - Part I
11.11.07

On Saturday, November 3rd, we photographed the wedding of Nikki & Brendan, something we had really been looking forward to since their engagement shoot this past summer (click HERE for a slideshow). Their afternoon ceremony was at the beautiful St. Patrick's Shrine Church in Carlisle, and an awesome reception followed at The Holiday Inn West on the Carlisle Pike.

Nikki & Brendan, you are such genuine, caring, nice people, and we are so lucky to have been there to capture your wedding day. Thank you for welcoming us into your lives and for treating us like family. We hope you had an amazing time in Riviera Maya - you deserve it - and we hope you enjoy the sneak peek. :)

It was a beautiful November day

And the detail on Nikki's gown was incredible

She definitely wore it well - stunning!

Brendan was all smiles watching his bride walk down the aisle

A sweet glance

Saying their vows, these two were so calm and in the moment

Lighting the unity candle - the altar is so beautiful and ornate

Brendan with his brother & best man

Nikki with her brother, who is also her best friend and man of honor

Nikki & Brendan's Wedding - Part II
11.10.07

The whole wedding party - the flower girl and ring bearer were adorable - thanks for doing such a good job for us you two! :)

Can anyone say BLING! This is one of my favorites for sure!

A couple cute portraits...

Love the smile!!!

Nikki said she really wanted to have some portraits taken by the water, but not IN THE WATER like their engagement shoot. Haha!

The first dance. This one makes me get teary - I love it! Scott got some great close ups.

And I focused on Nikki & Brendan with their guests in the background.

Cake cutting time - they were very sweet about it

And then the kids warmed up the dance floor. I couldn't resist this little one with her dirty tights. Is that not the cutest little break dancer you've ever seen?? ;)

The adults got the hint real quick

The bride and groom, and their friends and family, had so much fun. Definitely a night to remember for all.

Fall Family Fun
11.02.07

On Sunday, we had the opportunity to take pictures of one of my sorority sisters from college, Annie, her husband Jamie, and their gorgeous 13-month old son, Jack. Although I had met Jack briefly, this was the first time I had been around him for more than a few minutes - he's a total sweetie - just like Mom. :) We met at Jamie's parents house down in Maryland, and the location was PERFECT - lots of space, lots of fall color, and even a little lake down the street. We had a wonderful time. There is so much love between the three of them, and I'm so glad we could capture a little of that.

Annie and Jamie - thank you so much! We're so happy we had the chance to take pictures of your new family! Here is a little preview to hold you over. Talk to you soon. xoxo Kris & Scott

You can spot those big blue eyes from a mile away!

Jack is a very perceptive baby - I love this serious moment.

This is one of my favorites - it was totally spontaneous!

You can tell Jamie is such a proud new dad.

I LOVE this picture!!!

And I love this one of Annie playing with Jack.

After some individual shots, we managed to get some great family shots, which isn't always easy with a 1-year old. Jack did GREAT!

What a beautiful family!
